Senior Erin Wagner named OAC Volleyball Player of the Week for fifth time this season

ADA — Senior Erin Wagner (Massillon/Perry) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 14-20.
This marks Wagner's fifth OAC Player of the week accolade this season and eighth of her career.
The recognition comes after she registered a career-high 28 kills while hitting .333 to lead the Polar Bears to a 4-set victory over Heidelberg on Wednesday.
This was the fifth time this season that Wagner has reached the 20-kill mark.
Wagner also added 11 kills and four blocks in a 3-1 win over Capital on Saturday for Senior Day.
In her career, Wagner has a hitting percentage of .331, which is ranked fourth all-time in Ohio Northern history. She also has 1,144 career kills, which is just 32 shy of breaking into ONU's top-10 all-time list.
The Polar Bears (17-5 overall, 3-2 OAC) return to action on Wednesday at Otterbein (14-8 overall, 3-2 OAC) at 7 p.m.
