Volleyball drops 3-1 decision at Baldwin Wallace

BEREA — Ohio Northern fell 15-25, 25-21, 25-14, 25-19 at Baldwin Wallace in Ohio Athletic Conference volleyball action on Wednesday night.

• Senior Erin Wagner (Massillon/Perry) had a match-high 17 kills and hit .261 with three blocks.
• Senior Sonia Dahlin (Minnetonka, Minn.) and freshman Kate Zellers (Monroeville, Ind./Heritage) and added seven kills each.
• Senior Grace Conrad (Somerset/Sheridan) had 27 assists and 15 digs.
• Senior Rachel Jennings (Novi, Mich.) had a team-leading 17 digs.
• Baldwin Wallace was led by Brinn MacLellan with 17 kills. 
• The Polar Bears hit .188 for the match with 48 kills, while the Yellow Jackets hit .245 with 59 kills in the match.

• Senior Lauren James (Farmington Hills, Mich./North Farmington) moved into ONU's all-time top-10 list for blocks with 314 in 93 career matches.
• She is now tied for ninth in that category.
• She also reached the 500-kill plateau with 501 in her career.
• Jennings now has 1,869 digs in 98 career matches, and is No. 6 on ONU's all-time top 10 list in that category.
• Jennings entered the 2024 season ranked eighth nationally in digs among active Division III players.
• Conrad is eighth on ONU's all-time career assist list with 2,257 in 97 career matches. 
• Wagner now ranks fifth all-time in ONU's top-10 list for hitting percentage, hitting .331 in 93 career matches.
• She also has 1,089 career kills.
• Sophie Windover is now 30-15 in her two seasons as head coach of the ONU volleyball team, a winning percentage of .667.
