Senior Erin Wagner named OAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for second time this season

ADA — Senior Erin Wagner (Massillon/Perry) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 16-22.
This marks Wagner's second OAC Player of the week accolade this season and fifth of her career.
The recognition comes after she totaled 50 kills in a 3-0 win over Bluffton on Wednesday, and a 3-1 win over Mt. St. Joseph and 3-0 loss at Transylvania (Ky.) on Saturday.
She had a match-high 16 kills with five blocks and hit an impressive .469 at Bluffton, a match-high 22 kills with six blocks and hit .400 agaisnt Mt. St. Joseph, and a team-high 12 kills with three blocks against Transylvania (Ky.).
In her career, Wagner is hitting .323, which ranks fourth in program history. In 84 career matches, she has 942 kills, 198 blocks, and 131 digs.
The Polar Bears (7-3 overall) return to action on Tuesday at Albion (Mich.) at 7:00 p.m.
