Volleyball falls in three sets at No. 1-ranked Juniata (Pa.)

HUNTINGDON, Pa. — Ohio Northern volleyball team fell 25-21, 25-20, 25-13 at No. 1-ranked Juniata (Pa.) on Friday night at Memorial Gym.

• Senior Erin Wagner (Massillon/Perry) had a team-high 10 kills and hit .280 for the match.
• Freshman Summer Hoying (Fort Loramie) added seven kills.
• Senior Grace Conrad (Somerset/Sheridan) had 13 assists.
• Senior Rachel Jennings (Novi, Mich.) had a team-best 8 digs.
• The Polar Bears hit .112 with 26 kills, while the defending national champion hit .358 with 46 kills.

• ONU is now 1-13 all-time against JC.
• Jennings now has 1,629 career digs, and moved up to No. 8 on ONU's all-time top 10 list in that category.
• Jennings entered the 2024 season ranked eighth nationally in digs among active Division III players.
• Conrad moved is now eighth on ONU's all-time career assist list with 1,943 in 83 career matches. 
• Wagner ranks sixth all-time in ONU's top-10 list for hitting percentage, hitting .313 in 77 career matches.
• Sophie Windover is now 19-12 in her second season as head coach of the ONU volleyball team.
