Volleyball to open 2024 campaign Aug. 30-31 at Cedar Point Invitational

ADA — The Ohio Northern volleyball team will open its 2024 season Aug. 30-31 at the Cedar Point Invitational under second-year head coach Sophie Windover.

Northern will then play at the Juniata (Pa.) Invitational Sept. 6-7 before opening its home schedule Sept. 10 against Earlham (Ind.)

ONU will then play at area-rival Bluffton Sept. 18, two matches at Transylvania (Ky.) on Sept. 21 and a road match at Albion (Mich.) Sept. 24.

The 45th-Annual ONU Invitational will be Sept. 27-28 at the ONU Sports Center as part of Homecoming Weekend festivities.

The Polar Bears open their 2024 Ohio Athletic Conference slate at home against Marietta on Oct. 4.

Ohio Northern will also OAC foes Heidelberg, Capital and Wilmington.

Conference road opponents include Baldwin Wallace, Muskingum, Otterbein, Mount Union and John Carroll.

ONU will close out the regular season on Nov. 4 against Denison and Wittenberg as part of the NCAC/OAC Crossover at Wittenberg.

The OAC Tournament is slated for Nov. 12-16.

The Polar Bears posted a 17-10 record, including a 5-4 mark in the OAC, in 2023.
