Wagner, Jennings named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in Volleyball

ADA — Sophomores Erin Wagner (Massillon/Perry) and Rachel Jennings (Novi, Mich.) were named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in volleyball for the 2022 season in voting conducted by the league's 10 head coaches.
Wagner was a First Team All-OAC selection and Jennings was a Second Team All-Conference pick.
She is making her second appearance on the All-OAC squad, as she was named Honorable Mention All-Conference as a freshman in 2021.
Wagner leads the team and is third in the OAC with 318 kills and is ninth in the league with a team-best .280 hitting percentage from her outside hitter position.
She also has 59 blocks (10 solo) and 53 digs this season.
Jennings is also a two-time 2nd Team All-OAC pick as she received the same honor as a freshman.
This season, Jennings leads the team and is fourth in the OAC with 469 digs from her libero position in the back row.
She also has 32 aces and 52 assists this season.
The Polar Bears are 16-9 on the season and finished tied for second in the OAC with a 6-3 mark. They will be the No. 3 seed in this week's OAC Tournament and will host sixth-seeded Muskingum in the quarterfinals on Tuesday at 7 pm at the ONU Sports Center.
