BLUFFTON — Sophomore Erin Wagner (Massillon/Perry) had 15 kills and junior Ava Ehlinger (New Carlisle/Tecumseh) added 13 kills to lead the Ohio Northern volleyball team to a 25-20, 25-23, 25-21 victory at area-rival Bluffton on Wednesday evening at the Sommer Center.
The Polar Bears (6-2 overall) also got a career-high 45 assists from sophomore Grace Conrad (Somerset/Sheridan) and a season-high 31 digs from sophomore Rachel Jennings (Novi, Mich.)
Sophomore Sonia Dahlin (Minnetonka, Minn.) chipped in 10 kills for ONU.
The Beavers (5-4) were led by Jenna Woods and Alysha Like with eight kills each.
Northern hit an impressive .331 for the match with 56 kills and only 15 errors, while Bluffton hit .198 with 34 kills and 11 errors.
The Polar Bears will return to action Friday and Saturday when they host the 43rd annual ONU Invitational at the ONU Sports Center.
