Volleyball to open Katie Kuhn era in 2020 with road tilt at Earlham (Ind.) on Sept. 1

ADA — The Ohio Northern volleyball team will open the Katie Kuhn era and its 2020 season with a non-conference road match at Earlham (Ind.) on Sept. 1.
The Polar Bears will return home to host the 42nd Annual ONU Invitational on Sept. 4-5 at the ONU Sports Center under first year head coach Katie Kuhn.
The Polar Bears will also play in-season tournaments at Berry (Ga.), Wittenberg and Calvin (Mich.) to go with non-conference matches at Bluffton and Defiance.
Northern will begin the quest for its fifth consecutive Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season title with a road match at Muskingum on Sept. 26.
ONU has home OAC contests with Wilmington, Capital, Heidelberg and Marietta and road tilts at Baldwin Wallace, John Carroll, Mount Union, Otterbein and Baldwin Wallace.
The OAC Tournament is slated for Nov. 3-7.
Northern was 27-6 overall, shared the OAC Regular Season crown with an 8-1 mark, won the OAC Tournament title and advanced to the second round of the NCAA III Tournament in 2019 under 29th-year head coach Kate Witte, who retired at the end of the season.
