ADA — Sophomore Kaitlann Hogrefe registered a match-high 11 kills to lead the Ohio Northern volleyball team to a sweep of TYhiel (Pa.) in the third match of the 35th Annual ONU invitational Saturday morning at the ONU Sports Center.
The Polar Bears improve to 3-0, while the Tomncats fall to 0-3.
Freshman Claire Heitkamp had 10 kills, sophomore Heather saunier dished out 28 assists and senior Jeni Kmic had 17 digs for ONU.
TC was led by Lauren Richey with eight kills.
ONU will wrap up its season-opening tournament at Noon against Ohio Athletic Conference rival Heidelberg. This match will not count in the OAC regular season standings.
