SPRINGFIELD--The Ohio Northern volleyball team picked up a straight set win over Mount Saint Joseph Friday evening at the Wittenberg Invitaitional.
The Polar Bears are now 10-2 on the season while the Lions are now 1-6 overall.
Northern won Set 1 by a 25-18 score and took Set 2 by a slim 27-25 margin.
The Polar Bears closed things out with a 25-19 victory in Set 3.
Senior Ellen Grenert and freshman Kaitlann Hogrefe led the way for Northern with 10 kills apiece.
Senior Kelsie Zumberger had 36 assists to lead Northern while freshman Ellie Gillespie paced ONU with 15 digs.
Ohio Northern will be in action again on Saturday when they face off against No. 7 Hope (Mich.) at noon. They will then conclude play against Alma (Mich.) at 4 pm.
