ADA — Junior Ellen Grenert led with 13 kills and four blocks in Volleyball's five-set loss at Baldwin-Wallace, Saturday afternoon at Ursprung Gymnasium.
Northern fell 18-25, 25-16, 14-25, 25-23 and 12-15. The squad moves to 11-14 overall and 2-3 in the conference, while the Yellow Jackets improve to 14-11 and are also 2-3 in the OAC.
Behind Grenert was sophomore Kristen Davidson with nine kills, followed by sophomore Nicole Pottkotter with eight.
Freshmen setters Amanda Volosin and Hannah English both saw action during the contest, with Volosin notching 27 assists, while English recorded 16.
Defensively, sophomore Julia Fuerst had two blocking assists, while Jeni Kmic had 18 digs.
B-W's Amanda Sawicki led the match with 16 kills, followed by both Nicole Christner and Rachel Switalksi with eight. Christner also had a match-high five blocks (2 solo, 3 assists)
Northern is on the road Tuesday when it faces Wilmington for another conference contest at 7 p.m
