Women's Tennis opens spring break schedule with 6-1 victory over Mary Hardin-Baylor

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team started its spring break trip with a 6-1 victory over Mary Hardin-Baylor (Tex.) on Monday night.

- The Crusaders won the doubles court by taking Nos. 1 and 2.
- The Polar Bears stormed back to win all six singles courts to grab the victory.
- Junior Jenna Bell (Latrobe, Pa.) won 6-4, 4-6, 10-6 at No. 2 singles.
- Junior Abby Cruser (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights) won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.
- Junior Jamie Hurst (Granger, Ind./Penn) won 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 at No. 4 singles.
- Senior Katie O'Connell (Novi, Mich./Saint Catherine) won 6-3, 7-6(2) at No. 5 singles.
- Freshman Leah Schleibaum (West Chester/Lakota West) rallied to win 0-6, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6 singles.

- Cruser leads the team with an 12-3 singles record, with Hurst second at 11-4.
- Bell, Okrainec and Schleibaum each have nine singles wins.
- Bell and freshman Caroline Robinson (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central) are a team-best 8-6 in doubles play.
