Jenna Bell and Lauren Okrainec named Co-OAC Women's Tennis Players of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern junior Jenna Bell (Latrobe, Pa.) and freshman Lauren Okrainec (Ingersoll, ON, Canada/Homeschool) were named the Co-Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 24-March 2.

This is Bell's fourth time receiving the honor in her career and Okrainec's first.

The recognition for Bell comes after going 2-0 on the day in a 7-0 victory at Kalamazoo (Mich.) on Saturday. She won 6-4 at No. 1 doubles and 7-5, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.

The recognition for Okrainec comes after she also went 2-0 on Saturday. She won 7-5 at No. 3 doubles and 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 singles.

The Polar Bears (4-1 overall) return to action on March 10-13 for their spring break trip in Florida.
