Sophomore Abby Cruser named OAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Abby Cruser (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of Mar. 25-31.

The recognition comes after winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles and winning 8-1 at No. 2 doubles on Friday afternoon in their OAC opener against Marietta.

Cruser also leads the team with a 15-7 singles mark.

This is Cruser's first time receiving the honor.

The Polar Bears (12-4 overall, 1-0 OAC) return to action next Thursday at Baldwin Wallace (2-7 overall) at 3:30 p.m.
