Four Women’s Tennis student-athletes named Scholar Athletes by ITA

ADA — Four members of the Ohio Northern women's tennis team were named Scholar Athletes for 2022 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
Junior biology major Regan Landis (Elkhart, Ind./Concord), sophomore biology major Olivia Kesner (Lima/Central Catholic), freshman electrical engineering major Katie O'Connell (Novi, Mich./Saint Catherine) and freshman nursing major Miranda Wills (Ada) all received the honor.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale for the current academic year.
Ohio Northern also earned the ITA Scholar All-America Team award, which is given to teams with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale for the current academic year.
The Polar Bears finished the 2021-22 season at 19-7 overall, including a 6-1 mark in Ohio Athletic Conference play, and were the runners-up in the OAC Tournament under interim head coach Mike Bonnell.
