Junior Regan Landis named OAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern junior Regan Landis (Elkhart, Ind./Concord) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of April 25 to May 1.
Landis earned the accolade after she went a perfect 6-0 in Northern's three matches to close the regular season.
In ONU's 5-4 win over Wittenberg, Landis won 7-6(4), 7-5 at No. 2 singles and 8-2 at No. 3 doubles.
In a 5-4 loss at Ohio Wesleyan, she won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and 8-6 at No. 3 doubles.
In the season-ending 6-3 win at John Carroll, Landis won 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 singles and 8-1 at No. 3 doubles as the Polar Bears clinched the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye for the OAC Tournament.
A Second Team All-OAC selection as a sophomore, Landis is 21-4 in singles and 16-6 in doubles this season for an overall record of 37-10.
In her career, she is 38-12 in singles, 37-10 in doubles and 75-22 overall.
The Polar Bears return to action for the OAC Tournament semifinals on Friday at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason.
