Women's Tennis falls to Otterbein 7-2 in chilly OAC battle

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team dropped a Ohio Athletic Conference 7-2 decision to Otterbein on a chilly Thursday afternoon at the West Campus Courts.
The Polar Bears fall to 13-5 overall and 2-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, and the Cardinals improve to 11-3, 2-0.
Sixth-year senior Katie Curry (Oxford/Talawanda) won 7-6(2), 7-5 at No. 4 singles to lead ONU.
OU won two of the three doubles courts, but juniors Jeorgia Templin (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) and Flo Sanchez (West Chester/Lakota West) won 8-5 at No. 3 doubles to get ONU on the board.
The Cardinals then won five of the six singles points to secure the match.
ONU will return to action on Wednesday with a road match at Baldwin Wallace.
