Saturday's Match: The Polar Bears are hosting Ohio Athletic Conference foe Muskingum on Saturday at 1 p.m. for an indoor match at the Westwood Tennis Center in Lima due to expected inclement weather … Westwood has been the indoor home of the Polar Bears since the spring of 2012 … ONU defeated Muskingum 9-0 in October in a match that did not count toward the conference standings … Northern is coming off its four-game spring break trip to Florida from March 7-10 … The Polar Bears went 3-1 in those four games, defeating Covenant (Ga.) 5-4, Marywood (Pa.) 9-0 and Emerson (Mass.) 6-3 and falling 5-4 to Bethel (Ind.) … Junior Regan Landis (24-8) and freshmen Miranda Wills (23-11) and Katie O'Connell (21-3) lead Northern in overall wins this season … Landis and O'Connell are both 14-3 in singles play, and Wills is 12-5 … Junior Jeorgia Templin (13-3) leads ONU in doubles wins, followed by Wills (11-6) and Landis (10-5) … After Saturday's match, the Polar Bears will return to action on April 2 when they host OAC foe Capital at 1 p.m. … Muskingum is coming off a 9-0 loss to John Carroll to open the spring portion of its schedule on March 16 … The Fighting Muskies went 4-4 during the fall portion of their schedule … Jane Boyer (4-4) and Evelyn Pauquette (4-5) lead MU in singles victories on the season.
