Sunday's Match: The Polar Bears will travel south on Sunday to face NCAA Division I foe Dayton inside at the South Regency Tennis Courts in Miamisburg ... Ohio Northern is coming off a 1-2 record at the Transylvania (Ky.) Pioneer Invite last weekend ... ONU defeated Greenville (Ill.) 6-3 and fell to Asbury (Ky.) 7-2 and Transylvania 7-2 ... Freshman Miranda Wills earned OAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week honors after going 4-2 on the weekend ... Freshman Katie O'Connell leads the Polar Bears in singles play with an 11-2 record ... Wills, junior Regan Landis and freshman Julianne Sheldon are right behind with 10 wins each ... In doubles play, Wills is 11-2 and  junior Jeorgia Templin and Landis have nine wins each ... Wills (21-4), Landis (19-6) and O'Connell (15-2) are the team leaders in overall wins ... Dayton sits at 5-5 on the season after falling to Ball State 7-0 on Friday ... Junior Elizabeth Hamilton earned Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Player of the Week last week ... Hamilton sits tied for first with seven overall wins this season and is 6-2 in dual match play in 2022.

Series Records: Dayton leads the series between the two schools by a 4-0 margin ... UD won the last battle 6-1 in 2021.

Interim Head Coach Mike Bonnell: This will be the first match for Bonnell as Women's Tennis coach after taking over the program on Feb. 21 ... Bonnell is in year six as head coach of the ONU Men's Team and is 63-33 coaching women's tennis overall after leading the Ohio Dominican women from 2001-05.
