Saturday's Matches: The Ohio Northern women's tennis team is playing at home for the first time this season after opening with four road matches and the Oberlin Invitational … The matches are part of ONU's Homecoming Weekend … The Polar Bears are looking to remain unbeaten as they close out the fall portion of their schedule with matches against Concordia (Mich.) at 12:30 p.m. and Muskingum at 4:30 p.m. as part of a tri-match … Concordia plays Muskingum at 2:30 p.m. … Last time out, ONU defeated Franklin (Ind.) 9-0 and Rose-Hulman (Ind.) 8-1 on Sept. 25 at Franklin … Sophomore Oliva Kesner led the way, going 4-0 on the day with wins at Nos. 1 and 2 singles and 2 victories at No. 1 doubles with freshman Victoria Santana … Junior Regan Landis and freshman Miranda Wills also went 4-0 on the day … So far this season, the Polar Bears are 21-3 in singles play and 11-1 in doubles … Freshmen Katie O'Connell and Julianne Sheldon are both a team-leading 4-0 in singles play … Kesner, Wills and junior Jeorgia Templin are all 4-0 in doubles play … Wills (7-0) and Kesner (7-1) lead the team in overall wins … Concordia (Mich.) enters Saturday's matches winless on the season and coming off a 7-2 loss at Adrian (Mich.) … The Cardinals are led by sophomore Ellie Fritcha and freshman Hollie Johnson, who have combined for 3 singles victories and paired for a doubles win this season … Muskingum will enter Saturday's tri-match following a Friday afternoon match against Capital … MU has posted a 10-14 record in singles play and 2-10 mark in doubles this season … Freshman Sarah Ann Hafner (3-3) and junior Evelyn Pauquette (3-4) lead the Fighting Muskies in overall victories this season.

Head Coach Scott Wills: Wills is in his 21st season at the helm of the ONU women's tennis program … He currently stands first in coaching victories among all active Ohio college tennis coaches (NCAA DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA) and is the winningest coach in school history with a 393-104 (.791) record, including a 147-17 (.896) mark in regular season conference competition … He has also coached the program to eight regular season conference crowns and six OAC Tournament titles.
