This Week's Matches: The Ohio Northern women's tennis team will take its spring break trip to the Orlando, Fla., area ... ONU is slated to play eighth matches over four days, including an OAC match against Muskingum ... ONU will face Seton Hill, Muskingum, Houghton, Regis, Alvernia and St Vincent at the UTSA National Campus on Orlando ... Northern will play Midway at Lake cane Tennis Center in Orlando and Concordia (Minn.) at Oak Street Park in Kissimmee ... The Polar Bears are coming off a 2-1 record at the Transylvania (Ky.) Invitational ... The Polar Bears defeated LaGrange (Ga.) and Roanoke (Va.) and fell to host Transylvania ... Seniors Mackenzie Wills (Ada) and Katie Curry (Oxford/Talawanda) were named Co-Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Players of the Week for the week as each went 6-0 over the weekend ... Thus far this season, Wills leads the Polar Bears with an 8-2 singles record ... Curry (7-1) and freshman Regan Landis (7-3) are second with 7 singles wins each ... Freshman Jeorgia Templin leads the team with an 8-2 doubles record ... Wills has a team-best 15-5 overall record ... Wills is currently ranked fourth all-time in ONU history with a 75-18 singles record ... She is tied for third with a 73-29 doubles mark and is fourth in overall victories with a 148-47 career mark ... Curry is 10th all-time at ONU with a 66-20 singles mark.

Head Coach Scott Wills: Wills is in his 19th season at the helm of the ONU women's tennis program … He currently stands first in coaching victories among all active Ohio college tennis coaches (NCAA DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA) and is the winningest coach in school history with a 373-101 (.788) record, including a 140-15 (.903) mark in regular season conference competition … He has also coached the program to eight regular season conference crowns and six OAC Tournament titles.
