This Weekend's Match Notes: The Ohio Northern women's tennis team will play four matches at the OAC Tennis Fest at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason on Friday and Saturday ... ONU will face non-conference foe Franciscan on Friday at 5 pm to start the action ... Northern will then play OAC foes Muskingum and Marietta on Friday morning and will play Earlham (Ind.) in a non-conference match to complete the triple header on Saturday afternoon ... ONU is coming off an 8-1 victory over Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday at University Courts ... Four players were double winners in the midweek showdown, including senior Ashley Ochsenhirt, juniors Mackenzie Wills and Katie Curry, and freshman Abigail Staskiewicz ... This season, Wills leads the team with an 18-3 singles record and a 36-7 overall record ... Wills and Ochsenhirt both own a 18-4 doubles record to pace the team ... Curry stands second in singles play at 16-7 and freshman Olivia Schrager is third at 15-9 ... Curry also ranks third in doubles play with an 12-9 record ... Wills (119-40 overall) and Ochsenhirt (111-42) have each become members of ONU's 100-Win Club this season.

Head Coach Scott Wills: Wills is in his 18th season at the helm of the ONU women's tennis program … He currently stands first in coaching victories among all active Ohio college tennis coaches (NCAA DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA) and is the winningest coach in school history with a 361-96 (.790) record, including a 136-14 (.907) mark against conference competition … He has also coached the program to eight regular season conference crowns and six OAC Tournament titles.
