Women's Tenns drops rain-shortened decision at Cal Lutheran 5-1

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team dropped a rain-shortened 5-1 decision at Cal Lutheran on its spring break trip to the Los Angeles area on Tuesday afternoon.
The Polar Bears fall to 6-2 on the season, while the Regals improve to 2-1.
Senior Ashley Ochsenhirt (Birmingham, Ala./Briarwood Christian) and junior Mackenzie Wills (Ada) got ONU's lone victory with an 8-7(5) win at No. 1 doubles.
CLU led 2-1 after doubles and won at Nos. 2, 4 and 5 singles to lead 5-1 when the match was called.
The Polar Bears will wrap up their spring break trip on Thursday with matches at Rio Hondo and El Camino Community Colleges.
