Junior Ashley Ochsenhirt named Women's Tennis OAC Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern junior Ashley Ochsenhirt (Birmingham, Ala./Briarwood Christian) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of Mar. 26.

The junior earned the honor for the first time this season and for the fourth time in her career.

Ashley went a perfect 2-0 in OAC play at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles this week.

In OAC play, Ochsenhirt lost just three games in the two singles victories and was a perfect 16-0 in the two doubles matches.

The Polar Bears return to the court on Saturday, Apr. 7 as they welcome Mount Union to Ada for a 1 p.m. contest at the University Courts.
