Women's Tennis moves indoors to sweep Trine (Ind.) 9-0

LIMA — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team swept Trine (Ind.) 9-0 on Sunday afternoon indoors and the Westwood Tennis & Fitness Center.
The Polar Bears improve to 9-3 on the season, while the Thunder fall to 6-5.
Northern got off to a quick start by sweeping the doubles matches.
Junior Ashley Ochsenhirt (Birmingham, Ala./Briarwood Christian) and sophomore Kaleigh Cummins (Springfield/Northeastern) won 8-1 at No. 1 doubles, senior Lynn Kelly (Mason) and sophomore Mackenzie Wills (Ada) picked up an 8-0 victory at No. 2 doubles and sophomore Katie Curry (Oxford/Talawanda) and freshman Macey Camacho (Hartville/Lake) won 8-5 at No. 3 doubles.
Ochsenhirt and Kelly then clinched the match for Ohio Northern with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles and a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles, respectively.
Cummins then won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 and Curry won at No. 5 singles 6-2, 6-0 to make it 7-0.
Wills won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4 singles to put ONU up 8-0 and sophomore Jordan Dodson (Worthington/Thomas Worthington) completed the sweep with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles.
The Polar Bears will begin Ohio Athletic Conference play on Saturday with a 1 pm match at Heidelberg.
