Sophomore Ashley Ochsenhirt named OAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week for second consecutive week

ADA — Sophomore Ashley Ochsenhirt (Birmingham, Ala./Briarwood Christian) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week in women's tennis for the second consecutive week.

Ochsenhirt led Northern in a 9-0 victory over Wittenberg on Sunday evening.

The sophomore posted a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 1 singles after helping Northern win 8-1 at No. 1 doubles.

The Polar Bears will return to action and open OAC play on Apr. 1 as they host John Carroll at the University Courts at 1 p.m.
