Women's Tennis improves to 6-0 on season with 8-1 victory at Trine (Ind.)

ANGOLA, Ind. — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team improved to 6-0 on the season with an 8-1 victory at Trine (Ind.) on Saturday morning.
Senior Christina Corbean led the Polar Bears, winning 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and winning 8-6 at No. 1 doubles with senior Brittany Toney.
Sophomore Ashley Ochsenhirt won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, freshman Ola Latala won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles and the duo combined to win 8-1 at No. 2 doubles.
Freshman Mackenzie Wills, freshman Katherine Curry and freshman Kirsten Adamson also won singles matches for Ohio Northern.
Trine (1-4 overall) won at No. 3 doubles.
The Polar Bears will return to action Sept. 25 with a tri-match at Saint Francis (Ind.) with Manchester (Ind.)
