Three named Academic All-Ohio in Women's Tennis

ADA — Three Ohio Northern student/athletes were named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in women's tennis for 2015-16.
Seniors Taryn Stromback and Elise Smith and sophomore Lynn Kelly all received the honor.
The award winners must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative grade-point- average of at least 3.50.
Stromback garnered her third Academic All-OAC accolade.
The pharmaceutical business major conlcuded her career with 145-44 overall record, 62-26 singles record and 83-18 doubles record.
She is currently ranked fourth all-time in career wins and second all-time in career double victories.
Smith earns her first career Academic All-OAC honor.
The pharmacy major finished the season with a 13-6 singles record, playing majority of her matches at number five singles. In doubles action she went 14-5 overall, 13-4 at number three doubles.
Kelly, a nursing major, posted a 12-4 overall record in singles action, going 9-2 at number one singles.
She garners her first Academic All-OAC honor.
The Polar Bears finished the season 19-4 overall, 7-1 OAC under 15-year head coach Scott Wills.
