GAMBIER -- Senior Meghan Letizia and junior Brittany Toney led the Ohio Northern women's tennis team in an 8-1 loss at No. 27-ranked Kenyon at the VandenBerg Courts on Sunday.

The Polar Bears fall to 16-3 overall, while the Ladies improve to 13-9.

Letizia and Toney won a thrilling decision at No. 1 doubles for ONU, taking the tiebreaker 7-2 in a 9-8(2) victory.

Kenyon won the other two doubles matches and swept the six singles matches to post the victory.

The Polar Bears will return to action Friday with a 4 pm match against Otterbein at the University Courts.
