Stromback leads Women's Tennis in 7-2 loss at John Carroll in OAC opener

STREETSBORO — Senior Taryn Stromback won twice to lead the Ohio Northern women's tennis team in a 7-2 loss at John Carroll at the western Reserve Racquet Club on Saturday afternoon.

The Polar Bears fall to 9-2 overall and are 0-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the host Blue Streaks improve to 6-2, 2-0.

Stromback won 6-1, 7-5 at No. 2 singles and combined with sophomore Lynn Kelly to win 9-7 at No. 1 doubles.

ONU will return to action next Saturday with a 1 pm home match against Mount Union.
