Women's Tennis wraps up Spring Break trip with 9-0 victory at NCAA Division II Spring Hill (Ala.)

MOBILE, Ala. — Sophomore Lynn Kelly and senior Taryn Stromback led the Ohio Northern women's tennis team to a 9-0 victory at NCAA Division II foe Spring Hill (Ala.) on Wednesday at the Mobile Tennis Center.
The Polar Bears (7-0) wrapped up their Spring Break schedule with a perfect 4-0 record, while the Badgers fall to 4-8.
Kelly won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Stromback won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and the pair combined to win 8-1 at No. 1 doubles to lead ONU.
Senior Meghan Letizia and junior Brittany Toney won 6-0, 6-0 at Nos. 3 and 5 singles, respectively.
Sophomore Morgan McGlothlin won 6-4, 7-6(2) at No. 4 singles and senior Elise Smith won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 6 singles.
Northern swept the doubles play as Toney and Letizia won 8-1 at No. 2 doubles and Smith and McGlothlin won 8-1 at No. 3 doubles.
The Polar Bears will return to action March 13 at Oberlin.
