Junior Taryn Stromback named Academic All-OAC in Women's Tennis for 2014-15

ADA — Ohio Northern junior Taryn Stromback was named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in women's tennis for the 2014-15 season.
Stromback, a pharmaceutical business major from Maple Grove, Minn., is now a two-time Academic All-OAC and a two-time All-Conference honoree.
Academic All-OAC award winners must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50.
Stromback played primarily at No. 5 singles and No. 3 doubles this season.
She was 12-5 in singles play, was a team-best 22-6 in doubles play and was 34-11 overall this year.
In her three seasons as a Polar Bear, Stromback is 46-22 in singles, is 64-15 in doubles and is 110-37 overall.
Her 64 career doubles wins puts her ninth all-time at ONU and her 110 overall wins ranks her 11th all-time in Ohio Northern women's tennis history.
The Polar Bears finished the 2014-15 season with a 21-4 overall record won the OAC Regular Season title with a perfect 8-0 record, won the OAC Tournament and advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA III Tournament under14th -year head coach Scott Wills.
