GLENDALE/PHOENIX, Ariz. -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team swept a pair of matches at Glandale (Ariz.) Community College and at Paradise Valley (Ariz.) Community College on Wednesday.
The Polar Bears (5-1) topped both schools by identical 9-0 scores.
Junior Christina Corbean was one of five ONU players to go 2-0 in singles play and one of four players to go 2-0 in doubles action.
Junior Meghan Letizia and freshman Brittany Toney also won four times on the day.
The matches were originally scheduled for Monday, but were postponed due to rare heavy rains in the desert.
The Polar Bears will wrap up their Spring Break competition on Thursday with a match at Pima (Ariz.) Community College in Tucson.
