Junior Meghan Letizia records 100th career victory as Women's Tennis edged 5-4 by No. 35-ranked Kalamazoo (Mich.)

LIMA — Junior Meghan Letizia recorded her 100th career win to lead the Ohio Northern women's tennis team in a tight 5-4 loss to No. 35-ranked Kalamazoo (Mich.) Sunday afternoon indoors at the Westwood Tennis & Fitness Center.
The Polar Bears fall to 2-1, while the Hornets improve to 3-0.
Letizia rallied from 5-1 down in the third set to win her match at No. 4 singles 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(5) and make her the 11th member of ONU's 100-Win Club.
She is now 46-17 in her career in singles, is 54-8 in doubles and is 100-25 overall.
This year, she is 4-4 in singles, 5-3 in doubles and is 9-7 overall.
Junior Taryn Stromback and freshman Lynn Kelly each posted a pair of victories for ONU.
Stromback won 2-6, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6 singles, Kelly won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3 singles and the duo combined to win 8-2 at No. 3 doubles.
The Polar Bears will return to action on March 2 at Glendale (Ariz.) CC during their annual spring break trip.
