Women’s Tennis to open 2014-15 season at home against St. Francis (Ind.) on Sept. 11

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team will open its 2014-15 season on Sept. 11 with a home match against St. Francis (Ind.) at 2 pm.
ONU will also participate in the Oberlin Invitational on Sept. 12-14 and the ITA Central Region Championships from Sept. 19-22 at Kalamazoo (Mich.) in the fall season.
The Polar Bears open the spring season on Jan. 31 with a visit to Wright State University followed by two home matches with St. Mary's (Ind.) on Feb. 21 and Kalamazoo on Feb. 22.
Northern opens its spring campaign on Feb. 28 - Mar. 7 as they travel to Tampa, Fla., for its annual spring break trip.
The OAC season begins on Mar. 21 when Northern hosts Heidelberg at 1 pm.
The Polar Bears will also participate in the OAC Spring Tennis Fest April 11, where the Polar Bears will play matches against Baldwin-Wallace, Marietta, and Muskingum at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason.
The OAC Tournament begins on Apr. 28 with the quarterfinals at campus sites, followed by the semifinals on May 1 and the finals on May 2 held at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason.
The NCAA tournament is slotted for May 8-9.
Ohio Northern is also serving as host of the NCAA III Men's and Women's Tennis Championships May 18-23 at the Lindner Tennis Center.
