Kristin Cellentani and Taryn Stromback named Academic All-Conference in Women's Tennis for 2014

ADA — Ohio Northern junior Kristin Cellentani and sophomore Taryn Stromback were named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in women's tennis for 2013-14.
A total of 302 student-athletes in baseball, softball, men's and women's golf, lacrosse, tennis and track and field among the league's 10 schools were named Academic All-OAC.
The award winners must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative grade-point- average of at least 3.50.
Ohio Northern had 32 student/athletes named Academic All-OAC this spring.
Cellentani, an accounting major, is a two-time Academic All-Conference honoree and was named Second Team All-OAC as a freshman in 2012.
This season, she was second on the team with a 21-2 doubles record and was third on the team with a 15-4 singles mark. Her 36-6 overall record was third-best on the squad.
In her three seasons as a Polar Bear, Cellentani has a 40-15 singles record, a 50-13 doubles mark and has a 90-28 overall record.
Stromback is a pharmacy business major and was named Honorable Mention All-Conference as a senior in 2013.
This season, she was second on the team with a 21-4 doubles mark, was 13-9 in singles play and was 34-13 overall.
In her first two years at ONU, Stromback is 34-17 in singles play, is 42-9 in doubles play and is 76-26 overall.
The Polar Bears finished the 2104 season 17-5 overall, were second in the OAC with a 7-1 mark and reached the finals of the OAC Tournament under 13th-year head coach Scott Wills.
