Rachael Miller named OAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Rachael Miller was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of March 31-April 6.

Miller went a perfect 4-0 last week as ONU defeated Ohio Wesleyan 9-0 and extended its OAC regular season winning streak to 30 matches with a 5-4 win over John Carroll.

She was 2-0 at No. 5 singles and combined with sophomore Taryn Stromback to go 2-0 at No. 2 doubles.

This season, Miller is a team-best 14-2 in singles play, is 12-4 in doubles action and has a 26-6 overall record.

The league-leading Polar Bears are 11-2 overall and 3-0 in OAC play this season under 13th-year head coach Scott Wills.
