Women's Tennis closes out spring trip with 8-1 win over Susquehanna (Pa.)

TAMPA (Fla.) -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team closed out its spring trip with a 8-1 win over Susquehanna (Pa.) on Wednesday afternoon.
The Polar Bears went a perfect 4-0 on the trip and move to 6-1 on the season, while the Crusaders fall to 5-3.
ONU swept all three doubles courts to begin play.
The team of sophomore Rachael Miller and sophomore Taryn Stromback and the duo of junior Kristin Cellentani and sophomore Meghan Letizia scored 8-0 wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, respectively.
Sophomore Christina Corbean and freshman Brittany Toney won 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles.
In singles play, Cellentani and Miller each won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles and No. 5 singles, respectively.
Stromback won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Letizia was victorious by a 6-0, 6-1 score at No. 4 singles.
Toney also won at No. 6 singles by a 0-6, 7-6(2), 10-5 score.
Ohio Northern will return to action on Mar. 15, when it takes on Oberlin in a battle of regionally ranked teams at 2 pm.
