Senior Kristin Timperman leads Women's Tennis in non-conference match at Oberlin

OBERLIN — Senior Kristin Timperman won at No. 6 singles to lead the Ohio Northern women's tennis team in an 8-1 loss at regionally-ranked Oberlin on Friday.
The Polar Bears fall to 7-4, while the Yeowomen improve to 6-5.
Oberlin is ranked No. 11 in the Central Region, while ONU is ranked No. 22.
Timperman won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 6 singles over Rebecca Brown to give Northern its lone point of the match.
The Polar Bears will return to action March 24 when they open the defense of their Ohio Athletletic Conference regular season title with a road match at John Carroll.
