Wurm, Timperman post victories as Women's Tennis falls at #22 Webber International (Fla.) 6-3

TAMPA, Fla. — Ohio Northern sophomore Kelsi Wurm and senior Kristin Timperman each won their singles matches to lead the Ohio Northern women's tennis team in a 6-3 loss to No. 22-ranked (NAIA) Webber International (Fla.) Tuesday evening.
The Polar Bears afll to 7-2, while the Warriors improve to 7-4.
Wurm won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 5 singles to improve to 12-3 on the season and Timperman won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 6 singles and moves to 6-2 on the year.
The doubles team of sophomores Lauren Rife and Carly Olmstead won at the No. 3 spot 8-3 to account for Northern's lone doubles point.
The Polar Bears will return to action again Wednesday morning when the face NCAA Division I foe Miami (Ohio) in Tampa.
