Timperman, Rife post 3-0 singles records at Oberlin Invitational

OBERLIN — Senior Kristin Timperman and sophomore Lauren Rife each posted 3-0 singles record to lead the Ohio Northern women's tennis team at the non-scoring Oberlin Invitational Saturday and Sunday at the Don Huntsinger Courts.

Timperman finished the weekend with a 5-1 record, as she also went 2-1 in doubles.

Rife finished 1-2 in doubles play to post a 4-2 record on the weekend.

Sophomore Kelsi Wurm went 2-0 in singles and sophomore Emily Mueller posted a 2-1 singles record for Ohio Northern.

The Polar Bears will return to action Tuesday afternoon with a 5 pm contest at Wittenberg.
