Women's Tennis falls on the road to Kenyon, 7-2

GAMBIER — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team lost to Kenyon College, 7-2, in a road match Wednesday afternoon.
The Polar Bears fall to 7-5 overall while the Ladies improve to 5-3 overall.
The No. 2 doubles team of freshmen Lauren Rife (North Canton/ Hoover) and Emily Mueller (Vermillion/ Elyria Catholic) won 8-6 over sophomores Lydia Winkler and Amanda Polster.
Mueller also followed up with a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles over Polster.
The Polar Bears stay on the road this weekend with two matches in Northeast Ohio. The first is at 2 p.m. against OAC opponent John Carroll, followed by a non-conference contest at Malone at 6 p.m.
