Women's Tennis blanks Indiana Tech 9-0

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team won 9-0 against Indiana Tech Tuesday afternoon at University Courts.
The Polar Bears improve to 10-5 overall, while the Warriors fall to 1-8 overall.
All nine matches were swept by the Polar Bears.
No. 1 doubles was won 8-3 by freshmen Michelle Tuma and Carly Olmstead against senior Aide Martinez and junior Christina Ausler.
The freshmen doubles pair of Emily Mueller and Lauren Rife won their No. 2 match 8-2 over senior Jessica Groce and sophomore Marisol Granados.
Sophomore Christie Gales and freshman Kelsi Wurm took the No. 3 doubles match 8-1 against junior Danielle Ledbedder and freshman Amanda Northup.
Tuma won her No. 1 singles match 6-7, 6-3, 6-0 over Martinez.
No. 2 singles was won byMueller 6-3, 6-0 against Ausler.
Olmstead took No. 3 singles over Groce 6-0, 6-1.
Gales, Wurm and Rife also won their singles matches.
The Polar Bears will return to action Saturday when they travel to Capital to take on Capital and Wooster. The first match begins at 10 a.m. and the second match is tentatively set for 1 p.m.
