Women's Tennis drops 8-1 contest at NAIA foe Northwestern Ohio

LIMA — The Ohio Northern women's team traveled outside of the NCAA and dropped an 8-1 decision at NAIA foe Northwestern Ohio Wednesday afternoon at the Racer Courts.
Northern falls to 4-1 overall while the Racers stay perfect at 5-0.
The Bears began the afternoon dropping all three doubles matches in a tight fashion.
Freshman Lauren Rife picked up the lone win for the Bears as she defeated Shaleigh McClintock 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 at No. 4 singles.
This match completes the fall portion of the Northern's season.
The Polar Bears will be in action again when they travel to Florida for the team's annual spring break trip. Northern is slated to take on Weber International (Fla.) and Ave Maria (Fla.) on February 27.
