CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. — Freshman Abby Leatherman (Findlay/Van Buren) had four top-5 finishes to lead the Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team to a third place finish at the Wabash (Ind.) Invitational Friday-Sunday.

- Records: Ohio Northern (2-1 Overall, 2-1 OAC).
- Ohio Northern finished 3rd of 7 teams with 758 points.
- DePauw (Ind.) won with 1697 points, Franklin (Ind.) was second with 1015 points and Albion (Mich.) was fourth with 688 points.

Meet Highlights
- Leatherman finished second in the 200 fly in 2:16.05, was third in the 100 breast in 1:08.10, was fourth in the 200 I.M. in 2:14.09 and was fifth in the 200 breast in 2:32.67.
- Freshman Kate Kalmanowicz (New Freedom, Pa./Susquehannock) was second in the 200 fly in 2:16.05 and was seventh in the 500 free in 5:29.43.
- Freshman Lila DeLong (New Albany) was fourth in the 200 free in 2:01.89 and was sixth in the 500 free in 5:28.69 and the 1650 free in 19:18.20.
- Senior Mara Brown (Fremont/Ross) was fifth in the 100 I.M. in 1:03.22 and was seventh in the 100 fly in 1:00.55.
- Freshman Gillian Yoder (Waterville/Anthony Wayne) was fifth in the 1-meter diving with 375.17 points.
- Senior Hannah Eversole (Cincinnati/Mt. Notre Dame) was seventh in the 200 fly in 2:25.51.

- The meet consisted of 20 events, including 13 individual races, two diving events and five relays.
- Austin Veltman is 28-29 in his seventh season as head coach of the Polar Bears.
