Women's Swimming & Diving posts 179-54 OAC victory at Heidelberg

TIFFIN — The Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team won 13 of the 14 events and posted a 179-54 Ohio Athletic Conference dul meet dual meet at Heidelberg on Saturday.

Meet Highlights
- Senior Annie Richters (Troy/Miami East) won the 200 breast in 2:52.17 and the 1000 Free in 12:31.61.
- Freshman Kate Kalmanowicz (New Freedom, Pa./Susquehannock) won the 100 back in 1:04.39 and the 500 free in 5:36.30.
- Freshman Abby Leatherman (Findlay/Van Buren) won the 100 free in :57.03 and the 200 free in 2:07.46.
- Freshman Liv Elliott (Marysville/STEM Early College) won the 100 breast in 1:18.22.
- Senior Morgan Fernandez (Huber Heights/Wayne) won the 200 fly unopposed in 2:33.24.
- Freshmen Teagan Stermer (Bradenton, Fla./Christian) won the 200 back in 2:22.38.
- Freshman Lila DeLong (New Albany) won the 100 fly in 1:06.49.
- Senior Hannah Eversole (Cincinnati/Mt. Notre Dame) won the 100 I.M. in 2:30.00.
- The 200 medley relay team of Kalmanowicz, senior Mara Brown (Fremont/Ross), Fernandez and Leatherman won in 1:57.87.
Notables
- The meet consisted of 14 events, including 12 individual races and two relays. There were no diving events.
- The top five finishers, of which no more than three can come from one team, scored points.
- Austin Veltman is 28-29 in his seventh season as head coach of the Polar Bears.
