Women's Swimming and Diving wraps up regular season undefeated in OAC action after 151-83 victory at Baldwin Wallace

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team finished its regular season undefeated in Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet action, posting a 151-83 victory at Baldwin Wallace on Friday night at the Lou Higgins Center.
The Polar Bears end their regular season with a 6-4 overall record and finished 4-0 in OAC action. The Yellow Jackets fall to 9-4, 1-3.
Northern won eight of the 13 events and finished on top of the OAC Regular Season standings for the 11th time in school history.
Freshman Mara Brown (Fremont/Ross) won the 200 I.M. in 2:18.37 and the 200 fly in 2:19.49.
Freshman Hayley Solomon (Cincinnati/Sycamore) swept both of the 1-meter diving competitions, scoring 116.90 and 132.10 points.
Senior Megan Lubinski (Loveland/Brighton) won the 50 free in :25.33 and junior Shelby Starkey (Bellefontaine) won the 200 back in 2:14.01.
Starkey, Brown, senior Lauren Shaw (Port Clinton) and Lubinski began the meet by winning the 200 medley relay in 1:55.82.
Junior Gabbie Grant (St. Clair Shores, Mich/Lakeview), freshman Annie Richters (Troy/Miami East), freshman Sydney Selinsky (Dover/Tuscarawas Central Catholic) and Shaw wrapped up the meet by winning ghe 200 free relay in 1:46.28.
The Polar Bears will return to action Feb. 16-19 with the OAC Championships meet at the University of Akron's Ocasek Natatorium.
