Senior Megan Lubinski named OAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week for second time this season

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Megan Lubinski (Loveland/Brighton) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week for the week of Jan. 10-16.
This marks the second time Lubinski has earned the honor this season, as she also did so for the week of Oct. 18-24. She now has four such accolades in her career.
The latest honor comes after Lubinski won four events — three individual and one relay — to lead ONU to a 175-119 home win over Mount Union on Saturday to improve the Polar Bears to 3-2 on the season.
Lubinski won the 200 free in 2:00.41, the 50 free in :24.92 and the 100 free in :53.93.
She was also part of ONU's 200 medley relay team that posted a victory with a time of 1:53.52.
The Polar Bears return to action on Friday at 6 p.m. when they host Ohio Wesleyan and Bluffton in a tri-meet.
