Junior Megan Lubinski named OAC Women's Swimmer of the Week

ADA — Junior Megan Lubinski (Loveland/ Brighton) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week for the week of Jan. 25-31.

Lubinski won four events to lead the Polar Bears (1-0 overall, 1-0 OAC) to a 187-87 season-opening victory over Wilmington at the ONU Sports Center Natatorium on Saturday afternoon.

She won the 200-yard free in 1:58.89, the 50 free in :25.09 and the 100 free in :54.99. She was also on the winning 400 free relay team in 3:51.22.

The Polar Bears will wrap up the home portion of their abbreviated season on Saturday when they host Baldwin Wallace on Senior Day at the ONU Sports Center Natatorium.
