Women's Swimming & Diving falls at Baldwin Wallace 137-86

BEREA — The Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team won four events in a 137-86 setback at Baldwin Wallace on Friday night at the BW Natatorium.
The Polar Bears fall to 4-3 overall and are 2-2 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Yellow Jackets improve to 6-2, 2-1.
Senior Katey Stuart (Ada) won the 100 breast in 1:12.07 and junior Marissa Taylor (Granite Falls, N.C./South Caldwell) won the 1000 free in 11:31.11.
Sophomore Megan Lubinski (Milford/Brighton) won the 100 free 1:57.18 and freshman Shelby Starkey (Bellefontaine) won the 100 breast in 1:01.84.
Lubinski and Starkey also posted second place finishes. Lubinski was second in the 50 free in :26.08 and Starkey was second in the 200 free in 2:06.46.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Sept.25 with a tri-meet at Case Western Reserve and Hillsdale (Mich.)
